Last summer Marwah and I spent a huge part of our summer volunteering at this orphanage for kids with special needs in India and though it undoubtedly changed certain aspects of Marwah and I’s life, I don’t think we had as great an impact on the kids as they did on us and so this summer I wanted to try again, and today was my first day back at the orphanage with Iffa and Isma.

The kids all look exactly the same though I’m not sure any of them recognized me, either way it’s so great to be back. We’re going to start with painting a couple of the walls, hopefully that doesn’t go as badly as I keep picturing it to be. I’m just going to stick to painting in the shapes and letting everyone else handle the outlines and pictures.
